> None of these steps solved or changed the problem in any way. Changed launch options per Steam, concerning Startup Settings and Direct X versions. exe as always launch as admin, then starting trough Steam (Guy on the Steam forums said it fixed it) Closing all antivirus and and antimalware applications before launching. Fully uninstalling and doing a fresh re-download of Ylands exe as admin and launching Steam as admin It's been nearly a day now, and I've tried just about anything. It seems likely that windows 10 may resolve any issues that windows 8 might face. I hate to sound like a sales-person as well! But you can get your hands on a free upgrade to windows 10, if you were interested in doing such a thing (expires at the end of this month). Your PC spec seems like there should be no issue, I would have to concur with the driver updates, failing that, any supporting software or technology that your card or operating system (windows 8) might require (windows updates or game ready technology). P.S.: Should I expect a Day-One patch tonight? Thanks again, I'll post on updates tomorrow. Thanks a lot.ġTB HDD, Running Win 8.0, plenty of free space remaining. Sounds like it might work, so I'll run the driver update overnight. In the tool, select Save All Information for an easily shared format. In Windows, select Start and enter dxdiag into the search box on the taskbar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Ĭould you please run a DXDiag and post the results? Note: I was also asked to include an 'output_log_clean', but there is no such thing in my game files. I don't know what these are, and my task manager is showing no such thing.Īttached, the output_log file from Ylands_Data (as requested by a dev on Steam forums), WinRAR compressed crash folder. I was told to disable Rivaturner, EVGA PrecisionX or MSI Afterburner. I am hesitant to refresh my Graphics card drivers (Just did that a few days ago, download takes too long due to slow internet and I don't have time for it right now). I tried the usual steps, restarting PC, running as admin, verifying game files. Just bought and downloaded the game on release, launching it instantly gives me an error message explaining there has been a crash and a crash report has been saved.

Life is strange fatal error fix

I noticed over the next 6 turns or so that their armies got steadily weaker, because they had less resources. They agreed to peace on the third turn and became my vassal. In a blitz of their land, I took 6 of their provinces in two turns, only fighting the stack of ashigaru. Hattori had 7 provinces and 2 full stacks (mostly samurai) and one half stack, and one mostly full stack (of ashigaru). Recently on Legendary I was Ikko-Ikki against Hattori. So even with just their one island town (Sado), they can field quite a few units. Homna, for instance, has very rich province with gold mines. The reason some clans seem like they have more money is because they have richer provinces. Nor can the AI make more units per turn than it has recruitment slots, just like the player. With the exception of the Ashikaga Shogunate and Rebels, you won't see the AI magically make units if it has no money. The AI still needs to purchase each unit it makes. The AI doesn't cheat beyond this, however. The AI also has lower upkeep costs for its units, so can generally field larger armies than the player can with less provinces. On Normal, it is only a slight advantage, and on Hard onwards the AI gets more bonuses relative to the player. On Very Easy and Easy, the player actually has an advantage. The way it works is that on easier difficulies, your own units get bonuses, whereas the higher difficulties the AI gets bonuses to their units' stats. There is a way to fix this without having to play on a easier difficulty.ĭiscussion update: I noticed that if you play your battles with another players (Drop in) they seem to keep the ♥♥♥♥ing units buffs How is this suppose to be a strategy game if everyone else around you cheats?. I won't even mention that some clans have economy boost and huge stacks and powerfull agents.
